Kyllä voit, muistattehan ilmoittaa jokaisen työhön osallistuneen tiedot myös yhteystiedot -sivulla esityksessänne. Yhteystiedot tulee kirjoittaa pdf-esityksen viimeiselle sivulle

Kysymys Junikko-tehtävään liittyen: ovatko tehtävässä mainittujen tilojen tarkemmat tiedot tiedossa? Tiedetäänkö esimerkiksi tilojen pohjaratkaisut, korkeudet ja muut mitoitustiedot, vai onko tarkoituksena suunnitella konsepti, joka on sovellettavissa erimuotoisiin ja -korkuisiin tiloihin ilmoitettujen pinta-alojen puitteissa?

Junikko-tehtävässä tavoitteena on suunnitella tilakonsepti, jota voidaan soveltaa erilaisiin kohteisiin ja erikokoisiin tiloihin, esimerkiksi lentoasemille ja hotelleihin. Tilat voivat siis vaihdella merkittävästi kooltaan ja mittasuhteiltaan.

Konseptin lähtökohtana on, että sen perusidea ja tunnistettavat elementit säilyvät samoina, vaikka toteutus mukautuu kulloiseenkin tilaan. Näitä voivat olla esimerkiksi materiaalit, värimaailma, kalusteet, valaistus ja muut konseptia määrittävät visuaaliset tai toiminnalliset elementit.

Voit siis suunnitella konseptin esimerkiksi tietyn kokoiseen lentoaseman tilaan. Kun samaa konseptia sovelletaan myöhemmin pienempään tai suurempaan kohteeseen, sen mittakaava ja yksittäiset ratkaisut voivat muuttua tilan ehdoilla, mutta kokonaisuuden identiteetti, tunnelma ja konseptin keskeinen idea säilyvät yhtenäisinä.

Eli tarkoituksena ei ole suunnitella yhtä tiettyyn tilaan sidottua toteutusta, vaan skaalautuva konsepti, joka toimii erilaisissa tiloissa ja kohteissa.

Can I participate if I have just graduated?

Yes, you can! The competition is aimed at students and designers at the early stages of their careers. You can participate if no more than 10 years have passed since your graduation.

Can I participate as a group?

Yes, you can! If you are participating as a group, please make sure to include the details and contact information of all members who contributed to the proposal on the contact information page of your presentation.

The contact information must be included on the final page of the PDF presentation.

Question regarding the Junikko assignment: Are more detailed specifications of the spaces provided?

Are the floor plans, ceiling heights and other dimensions of the spaces provided, or is the intention to design a concept that can be adapted to spaces of different shapes and heights within the specified floor areas?

The aim of the Junikko assignment is to design a spatial concept that can be adapted to different locations and spaces of varying sizes, such as airports and hotels. The spaces may therefore differ significantly in size, proportions and dimensions.

The key idea and recognizable elements of the concept should remain consistent, while the implementation can be adapted to the specific space. These elements could include, for example, materials, colour palette, furniture, lighting, and other visual or functional features that define the concept.

You can, for example, design the concept for a specific-sized space at an airport. If the same concept is later applied to a smaller or larger space, its scale and individual solutions can be adapted to the characteristics of the space, while the overall identity, atmosphere and core idea of the concept remain consistent.

In other words, the goal is not to design a solution tied to one specific space, but rather a scalable concept that can work across different types, sizes and shapes of spaces and locations.
